My name is Paul G. Rebelo, and I was born and raised in New England. I came to faith and received my call to ministry in the spring of 1992 at St. Andrew UMC in Saint Albans, West Virginia. The following fall I went to the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 1995. I was ordained an Elder in the WVUMC Conference in 1997. I am now working on a Doctor of Ministry. Prior to coming to Chapel Hill, I served at Wesley UMC in Kingwood, WV. I have been blessed with tremendous opportunities to serve God’s people in places and ways that I could never have imagined.
My wife, Christine, is a second-grade teacher at French Creek Elementary School. We have 4 terrific children – Lawrence, Emily, Montgomery, and Rachel.
