There are opportunities for all to enjoy being a part of a choir. We consider our choirs to be like family. We invite everyone to join a choir to praise the Lord with your talents.
Through God’s music, we experience enjoyment, praise, prayer, worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Besides the different groups offering their talents, we also have “special music”, where our gifted folks play or sing a solo, duet, trio, or quartet.
We have a Nursing Home ministry where one of our choirs or soloists visit Serenity Care Nursing Home one time a month from September through June.
There are many opportunities for you to share your talents at Chapel Hill. Feel free to come to a rehearsal or contact Pam Walling, Director of Music Ministries.

They play a variety of handbell literature once a month during the 10:30 Worship Service from September through May. Besides the regular ringers, we have a list of substitutes that help us during the year. We have a great time ringing God’s praises and even offer free Double Bubble gum during rehearsals!
CHERUB CHOIR
Children’s Choir

August through May This choir sings one time a month.
Risë Hanifan – Director, Jodee Wilt – Piano
The Cherub Choir is for all children ages 3 through 8th grade. It meets throughout the school year on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 9:30 in the choir room. The Cherub Choir is an excellent introduction to singing of traditional Bible songs as well as contemporary selections for young children in a low pressure atmosphere. The choir sings for the regular morning church service once a month. If young children are hesitant about their first days in the choir, parents are welcome to join them until the child feels secure in our rehearsals. We use percussion instruments to enhance the music experience. All children are welcome to join us! It is directed by Risë Hanifan and accompanied by Jodee Wilt.
CONTEMPORARY SONG LEADER
If you would like to join the group who leads the contemporary song each week, please contact the church to speak with Risë Hanifan.
