Wednesday Night Dinner ministry began in 2005 as an outreach to the church, as well as to the community.
Wednesday Night Dinner is a chance for college students and members of the community to come get a free meal. While we do take up a freewill offering, we do not expect or ask that college students donate any money in order to support the ongoing ministry of food.
The purpose of the dinners is to provide fellowship. It is a way to get to know members of the congregation and the community on a more personal level.
While members of Chapel Hill are in attendance, many people from other churches, as well as those not affiliated with a church are frequently joining in the food and fellowship. A freewill offering is taken to help support the costs of ongoing dinners.
